Visual Arts

Led by Melanie Fulton, an experienced practicing artist and teacher - this program began in 2005 and is process based with a focus on completing work for public exhibition.
Artists are encouraged to develop personal styles and areas of interest, and learn a wide range of technical skills in both 2D and 3D mediums. The program runs on Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
As practicing artists participants learn to:

  • plan and take time to make quality artworks
  • analyze and critique their own and other’s work
  • progress step-by-step towards a goal
  • incorporate new ideas and techniques
  • be involved in all aspects of art production
  • preparations for and attendance at exhibitions
  • catalogue and invite design
  • input to related texts
  • responding to feedback and questioning from the general public.

The Tutti Visual Arts and Design Team is currently collating and documenting artist’s works for individual Artist Profiles, which will promote the program and work of Tutti artists to galleries and arts events. Individual artists works will appear in various arts venues around Adelaide and Nationally as a development of the program.
