Digitech

In 2007, Tutti Arts started a pilot project to explore some of the possibilities of using digital technology to develop skills and produce artwork in various digital media.

The digitech program revolves around first one, and recently two, iMac computers, some Adobe, Apple and other software, a graphics tablet, scanner, printers, digital video and still cameras, and some enthusiastic Tutti Arts participants.

Artists work one-on-one with Philip Griffin on such projects as:

  • short animations
  • music videos (creating both the music and video components)
  • music skills development
  • documentary films
  • developing photographic techniques.

As the digitech program expands and develops, projects which incorporate collaboration between Tutti artists are being devised – for example a musician and two visual artists are working together on a music video.
